Çogun is a name of Old Turkic origin meaning "sea lobster." This name was chosen to refer to lobsters, which perform a cleaning function in the natural ecosystem.

Designed to collect solid waste such as plastic, packaging, and wood from the sea surface, Çogun is a lightweight, practical, and efficient unmanned marine vehicle. With autonomous and manual operating modes, it provides effective cleaning over large areas. A conveyor system between the catamaran hull transfers the collected waste to replaceable nets in the rear section.
